Strip Lighting and Appliances.

Electricians did their final things. Oven is installed,strip lighting looking cool! Data completed, hot water controllers installed as well. Some faulty lights fixed. Almost finished! I know landscaping will be a challenge hehe.

Wynstan Blinds installed.

Wynstan have installed the cybashade venetian blinds in the family/living/dining room and the 3 bedrooms + bathroom.  Panel glide for the stacker door. Plantation shutters we are still waiting. Gas cook top is in, hot water is installed so is the dishwasher. Front security door is in. Some of the fly screens completed. Hopefully will be done by Thursday.  The sewer choke is still going... we are still waiting for waterboard to fix it so when we move we can be able to use our toilets! Moving day is Friday! 

Painting D.I.Y'in it part 1

Feature walls painted for main bedroom and media room. Not bad for amateurs :) ( paint tape is still on). Next painting project family/ kitchen/ dining room, and the last of all pink for my daughters room as requested.

Keys are ours but there's a slight speed bump.

Well today we met up with Chris from Allworth.  We was very professional and helpful and we gave him 6 pack beer. Hehe. It all went well. Everything was perfect. Carpets turned out well by surprise! It feels great to be homeowners. Even though we had ups and downs and centuries of waiting, it all comes worth it in the end. The head office part was probably the most difficult and stressful and annoying part. But once your over that the house gets built in record time. We have beaten the house next door that started 2 months ahead of us. So if your in the administration part just brace yourself that it might take longer than you think. And the communication is crap! That's probably it. Oh! The speed bump is driveway is delayed because we have a sewage choke that allworth is fixing up with  waterboard(hence the pile of dirt pic in front of the house). I hope this doesn't cost us anymore money. So here is alot of pics for your enjoyment!

Tomorrow is the DAY!

Well..I cant believe i have come this far! We will be walking into our own house tomorrow and finally get the keys! We have organised to pick up the cheque today. Got a phone call from Wynstan saying that they will install the Venetians and the flyscreens and security doors except for the plantation shutters on Saturday at 7am! So much for the bunch of temporary blinds might have only needed a few not 14 of them. I think i still have the receipt so i can return the ones i dont use back.
Booked to move our stuff on Saturday as well @ 8am so busy busy busy. But we officially move in on Monday. Driveway gets underway tomorrow and hopefully gets poured Thursday. Painting feature walls that day as well! I cant wait! I will post pics tomorrow after handover. So sit tight guys there is going to HEAPS of pictures! Till tomorrow :) I dont i will get enough sleep tonight.. haha.
