The ball just keeps rolling with nothing!

Since the time of signing the contract, and the letter of commencement on 6th of May. Getting a letter from Allworth just 3 days ago signing on last variations made. It stated work would start commencing after they received the paperwork back. Correct me if im wrong but I hope its just 20 days instead of 20 working days. Coz it feels like a billion years!!! Only one thing I can complain is that they still haven't pegged it out! Feeling deflated right now that things haven't changed or started. Absolutely nothing....

No tall grass, fences finally on the boundary line. All ready to go! Well hopefully soon.

Prepping Time!

Its been so long.. we had small issues with having to clear our block of land. Due to next door neighbors builders have been dumping things on our block of land slowing down the process for pegging which sort of annoyed me. After numerous calls to the builders they finally did it after 2 weeks! Booked for clearing hopefully tomorrow! Might watch them do it, maybe..maybe not. Got work stocktake yay.. not!  Letter of commencement given last week so hopefully counting the days goes fast.

Signed our life away!

It was a great day today! We finally signed the Construction Certificate.  I cant believe its taken this long. But I am definitely happy! *sings the "Happy" song*.  Now to organise to clear our block!

Feature Pillars

As you may know I have been thinking of putting stacked stone to the two front pillars of the house. This is what happens when I wait...... lol

 Since our bricks are quite dark, I think the white stacked stone will look awesome!
We were initially going to paint it.. but thought we would go something different. Plus I love the look. I guess... I have to research how much they cost.

A week has gone past since our last update. Allworth were sending plans through to Sydney Water for approval. And you know what? More waiting!

The taking so long side..

I dont know.. but Im kind of thinking the paperwork side for Allworth is bloody taking forever! We email our CSO and get a reply a week later, didnt even get a final tender yet so we can go to the bank to fix up the pre-approval. Their communication is definitely lacking. I'm actually quite annoyed about it.
