Great brick choice, looks nice
ReplyDeleteHow much you got charged for you bricks? Iam thinking now go With dark colours same as yours, it's too late now..lol
They charged an extra 1800 for the bricks. Wanted to go dark but not too dark. Our second choice of brick was ur colour bricks! Hehe
ReplyDeleteYou can add WIP to translucent LIN1 door and get translucent galss to media door both free of cost..
ReplyDeleteAsk 3 doors to Vanity door- No cost
Nice choices Andrea. We are going for Harmony Entertainer as well and we loved the same colour bricks. Sad they are not covered standard. We were earlier getting the width increased by 400 mm as well from kitchen to alfresco, but it was costing 5k and we dropped the idea.
ReplyDeleteFor now we are only changing the vanity size of bathroom and Ensuite like yours, double basin in bathroom and moving the fridge to media room (like Cameron did) and extending the kitchen cupboards after moving fridge. 20 mm cesarstone bench top as well. Also going for the glass splash back with concealed ducted rangehood.
Cannot wait :)
Thanks Gaggy :)
DeleteThere were a few options we were looking at on the standard range and we pretty much looked at all of them. The Boral Lakeside & Mountain werent to bad, they were the closest to dark but not that much.We went to our local PGH brick place and saw a sample of Truffle and totally decided on it. Initially with the extention, we mirrored the back. Had to decrease the house length by 55cm and we didnt want to loose space and added it to the width of the kitchen/family area. But unfortunately our neighbors didnt want the our drive way where we wanted it so we had to change plans to original layout. And found that we still kept to budget and kept the extension and the decrease of the length was back to normal length,
The vanity in the ensuite i chose because i loved the look in the display home at brooks reach. And it looked better! hehe
Yeah it was a good idea that cameron moved the fridge to get alot more bench space. But since we extended we didnt need to change the fridge position. I think we got standard cesarstone no waterfall on sides. And we ended up getting a two tone kitchen with different colour bottom to the top cabinets. Its hard to imagine it when its just a little square sample.. but i hope it suits hehe, Hopefully your paperwork wont take as long.
