Waffle pods and slab frame complete  and ready for concrete goodness haha! Which should be happening today. Was definitely a cold day outside. While taking the photos I was freeeezin!

So windy the thrones gone over!

We took some photos today. It looks like they did the plumbing and most of the slab framing. Excited to have the Allworth sign up. The wind is definitely not helping with the toilet that has fallen down. It has been a very very windy few days in the Illawarra.

Our Holey Ground.

Piering was done Thursday and Friday.  The piering averaged out to be mostly 2.7m deep. They dug out 53 holes. They allowed extra 40lm extra because of zone of influence. We were over about 4lm, so a little bit extra. But not way over budget. They filled the holes with concrete on Friday. I will probably drive there on Wednesday to take some happy snaps. Hopefully they will have the plumbing and the concrete framing mostly done... hopefully if weather holds up.

Damn straight its starting!!

Finally yesterday they began the works! Thought we would ring and found out that they started. Went for a visit this morning and there was dirt, diggers and guys everywhere! OMG a feeling of relief that things are finally happening!! Will post pictures later! :) Feels like I've won the lottery! Hehehe

A Week out, Still no build..

I have come to the conclusion that I will not drive past my block for 2 weeks. Days after 20 days has been like a punch to the gut every time we decide to go past to see if anything has happened.......and....still NOTHING! 7 days past!! Hasn't been raining for 7 days straight has it?.. Well we wont go there.. Sounds like breach of contract Allworth! I am ready to walk away if nothing is done in 2 weeks!!  Im giving you 2 WEEKS!! @#$**#@!!!!!!!

Well the week we start I think has delayed us already. I hope the rain clears up soon and gives us more sun shiny days.

Im normally a nice, patient type of person.  But as of today marks the 20 working days for site commencement. We drive to our block of land hoping to see something! But!........wait for it! Next door have their roof tiles on our block of land! Ok after nice asking for previous removals of roof tiles and boundary fences on our block of land many times. TREVELLE homes you are making one woman turn into an angry hulk! This means Allworth might charge us for not clearing our land! Delaying our build! Please god let there be light in the tunnel. Allworth just start already so Trevelle doesnt put stuff on our block of land AGAIN! PLEASE!!!!!!
