Well hubby had a week off work. And he finally started the backyard work. So instead of hiring someone to move dirt. He done it himself to save money! Hehe I think he did an awesome job! There is still more left to do but not much.. Then moving onto retaining walls hopefully.

ReplyDeleteI will have a small backyard like you as well. Our lot is 13 * 30 = 390 sqm. We will have around 4.5 metres at the back and due to the slope, it will have approx 300-400mm cut at the back approx 2 metres away from the back wall. We might have to retain that.
ReplyDeleteSame in front, there will be some extra soil around 150-200 mm. If the neighbour also does the same, I hope we can fill the gap and no retaining is required in the middle.
Actual action will be seen when the build is ready.
