Feature Pillars

As you may know I have been thinking of putting stacked stone to the two front pillars of the house. This is what happens when I wait...... lol

Since our bricks are quite dark, I think the white stacked stone will look awesome!
We were initially going to paint it.. but thought we would go something different. Plus I love the look. I guess... I have to research how much they cost.

Here are some examples below:

The white stacked stone example with slight shimmer.

  7. Hi there! I came across your blog and thought I'd share our stacked stone experience. We are about 6 weeks from completion and will have light coloured stacked stone on our front pillars. The cost for us was around $3600 both poles (I still cringe at the cost).

Word of warning, if you do go ahead make sure you choose a stone that comes with 90 degree corner pieces. We ordered austral lite-stone which only comes in flat sheets and it is really hard to get a neat corner. Keep your eye on our blog and we should have photos up in the next few weeks :)

    1. Nope! Have not signed anything yet :( I cant believe its taken this long. Its gone from the CSO to the CS Manager who apparently just came back from maternity leave. All we were saying was about the price rise which went up $3600. Which was not all our fault. And then the csm promised to email back same day but never did. And then the last email was that our paperwork is with the general manager also saying he was on holidays and was back monday! Im just so frustrated with them that it has taken this long and not giving us alot of feedback on whats going on. But when we do sign the contract ill be on top of the world! Hehe I heard your getting keys soon! Im so happy for you! I think watching your place getting built gets me by all this waiting.
