Good news, kitchen is in. Bad news we are locked out! Hehe no more sneaky sneaky. Down pipes are on as well. Doors are on. But everything is moving along well.
Thank you cameron :) We changed the standard alfresco to the signature series that can be seen in the altona in brooks reach. The roof is recessed, it costed us more. And we changed the sliding door to a stacker and that was extra too. How is your retaining wall coming along? i see you have done your driveway, looks awesome! We are looking for contractors for our driveway we had one guy have a look but we dont know how much it will cost us.
We finished all our retaining wall and driveway as well, ours bit cheaper, driveway and alfresco 75m2 cost us 6000$ only. How much you paid for both alfresco and stacker door upgrade?, i really love it, looks great
Your kitchen looks very good and perfect size. Is it standard for Harmony Entertainer? We moved fridge to media room wall to make kitchen bigger as Cameron did in his design as well. My wife and I did not like the less space in the kitchen benchtop. Will also ask our sales consultant about the ceiling and stacker door as they are not that expensive. Have not seen the standard doors as well, so will have a look this weekend. Getting concrete floor for Alfresco as well from All worth for around $1500. I will see if I can get it done with Driveway as well to save some money :)
Hey Gaggy, Thanks. We kept the layout of the kitchen but we widened the house about 55cms price was about $5000. That also extended the kitchen and the kitchen island bench, and widened the pantry as well. Then we chose glass splashback which they had to change the rangehood to concealed, thats why the cupboards go all the way across. Yes our alfresco concrete was about that too. We just got quoted for the driveway for about $5200. Oh and we added the cupboard above the fridge space as well which was about $270.
Thanks for the info Andrea. Allworth charge 10k for the driveway. So no point of getting from them. That answers the size of the kitchen.Very wise decision and it looks great. We are having glass splashback as well and had to change the rangehood to concealed as well.Allworth said they cannot add glass with standard rangehood. Price for your driveway is great. thinking to get driveway and flooring to alfresco together from outside.
Loving your blog and looking forward to seeing internal pics of it completed! Great idea to extend a little and the extra cost of $5000 isn't too bad. I also like the idea of the stacker doors. Is there any form of fly screen available for it?
Thank you =). Yes the extension wasnt too expensive. The stacker door isnt that expensive either. Im in the process of getting quotes for the stacker door with wynstan and they said you can do a form of flyscreen or security door. i'll keep you updated when i get them so you have a rough idea on how much it will cost. Where abouts are u building?
Congrats andrea, Your house looks fantastic, Your alfresco looks different from standard price leader home. Did you upgrade your sliding door?.

DeleteIt costed us $800 for the recessed ceiling to alfresco.
Stacker door was $525. So it wasnt too bad.

Gaggy, the driveway is with an independent conctractor from wollongong not going through allworth.
