Carpets have been laid and tiles. Tiles look great! But the carpet.... not so much. Looks alot like dirt! Maybe it's the lighting, or it hasn't been cleaned yet...not sure. :( The little square sample at the carpet place looked really nice the colour seemed right at the time, which was a very long time ago. Word of warning choose a very very safe colour. Feature wall colour has changed my perspective on colour choice I think... I'll post pics so you guys can see.
Hi,,im sure they dont clean the carpet after laying, its brand new, shouldnt need cleaning, unless the guys that laid it didnt take their shoes off,in that case i would b saying someting to ur ss,,its coming together nice :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne :). I might email the carpet place and send them the photos I've taken. There is definitely a difference between the last picture than the first one. And handover is in a week! It has come quick hehe.

We are also going in for light grey colour scheme: Light grey bricks, a Greyish tile ( light, but not that much), so thinking to get the wall painted near white. The first colour in the colour sheet given by All worth.

We are having the same kitchen with ducted range hood and wanted to know if you changed the height of size of the cup boards above? There size is perfect. Not sure how will they look on ours as we are getting higher ceiling.

Hey gaggy :) thank you! We paid about $1955 extra. It's the colour New Orleans River Rock we went through accent carpets in castle hill. We ended up getting nylon cut pile instead. Wool was way expensive. Plus I wanted something more heavy duty. We did make the bulkhead less with no charge, but since you might have high ceilings they just might charge for larger cupboards or they may sit a little higher. I hope they don't charge an arm and a leg for it for you guys.
