Ten days to go till handover! I can't believe we've come this far! The date has changed to the 8th of Oct. Appointment time is 8:30am! Nice and early. I'm glad we dont have to pack because our things are already in storage. Booked removalists. Buying our feature wall paint and D.I.Y'ing it. Bought some temporary blinds from Ikea til our permanent blinds come. They are awesome @ $4.99 a blind. So if your blinds aren't ready,these are a lifesaver for privacy. They measure at about 90 cm × 190 cm.

ReplyDeleteGood idea to paint the feature wall yourself later. I dont have a clue how to paint and are getting feature walls in few bedrooms and media from Allworth homes. They charge $200 per wall as per the booklet.
Will look for the Ikea blinds as well for temporary resort.
Gaggy,,dont pay through allworth to do ur feature walls,,they charge tttooo much,,when the painters r there, ask them direct and they will do it heaps cheaper,,,we got 6 feature walls done, it cost $500, for the lot, including them supplying the paint.

Just ask when the painters will b there,,ur ss will let u know what and when different things are happening,,,the painters r pretty accomadating, ,,easy money for them,,lol,,we just went with the standard 2 coats,,,very impressed with the paint job.,,,sorry andrea for chatting on ur blogg,, ur house looks great, u must b getting very excited :-)
